Controlling each nozzle with an individual pulsing valve Raven Hawkeye PWM allows users to specify pressure, application rate and droplet sizing from the cab. These are maintained regardless of forward speed to ensure precise targeted applications at all times. Built in turn compensation prevents under and over dosing across the whole boom.

Norac UC7 Active Roll

Coupled with our new boom centre frames, Norac UC7 offers the most advance levelling system available, ensuring boom height is maintained regardless of topography to minimise drift and maximise product efficacy. Available in 3 or 5 sensor versions, UC7 utilises ultrasonics and accelerometers to control the boom using the independent incline cylinders and the centre frame itself.

AirPurge

  • Option

Aimed at reducing wash out times and chemical dead volumes, AirPurge uses compressed air to expel the maximum amount of liquid from the plumbing and spray lines at the end of a tank load. An icon automatically appears on the screen at low tank levels, once selected the additional air tanks are used to propel liquid from the nozzles.

Fast Filling Port

All Chafer crop sprayers are fitted with a hydraulically driven pump capable of filling at speeds of up to 800l/m (on a 3″ coupling). Where additional capacity is required, a fast fill port can be specified to allow direct filling of the spray tank from an external pump. Available in 2″ and 3″ versions.

Hydraulic Pressure Washer

Specified in place of the standard wash down reel, a hydraulically driven pressure washer allows thorough cleaning of the machine without any additional equipment, keeping chemical residue in the field or in bonded areas.

General Options.

Workstation

Fitted as standard to all trailed and self propelled models, a 10W LED light is provided above the workstation to illuminate the hopper and control valves. The light is controlled from the external control panel.

Road Hazard Lights

To ensure our machines are visible during transport, sprayers are fitted with twin flashing LED lights on the rear facing centre frame cover. These hazard lights flash at different rates to prevent confusing with indicators.

FieldVision Boom Lighting

Utilising powerful 40W LED lights with a pencil beam pattern, the spray pattern is illuminated ensuring the operator can check nozzle function at all times of day and night. Lights are mounted to the inner frames to follow boom attitude changes.

FieldVision Machine Lighting

Wide angle 50W Nordic LED lights are fitted to the front frame offering panoramic illumination when the booms are open, helping to spot potential hazards that are out of the normal range of tractor unit lighting systems.

Additional Road Lighting

Fitted as standard to self propelled models and available as an option on trailed machines, an additional set of road lights are fitted to the rear mudguards. Popular with users who frequently use busy highways for improved braking and indicator visibility.

Boom Mud Guarding

Available across the range of Chafer booms, these flexible covers prevent soil building up on the boom and spray line when running the boom at low levels during pre emergence sprays. Quick release fixings offer simple removal when required.

Mud Flaps – Short

Chafer branded 650mm wide mud flaps are fitted as standard on the front and rear of our self propelled models. Reinforced mountings ensure a long working life. Optional on trailed machines.

Mud Flaps – Long

A longer version of the Chafer mud flap can be fitted to either trailed or self propelled models. Mud flaps are 650mm wide so will be narrower than 710mm mudguards that can be specified on trailed machines.

Self Propelled Specific.

Grammer Actimo XL Seat

Chafer self propelleds come as standard with a mechanically suspended Grammer seat. The Actimo XL offers operators a premium air suspended seat with APS (Automatic Positioning System)and fore and aft isolation to keep the longest days comfortable.

Grammer Actimo Evolution Seat

Improving on the features of the Active XL, the Evolution models offers operators increased comfort via additional automated adjustability, active heating and cooling along with further cushioning. When the Evolution model is specified, a Chafer branded buddy seat and leather steering wheel are provided.

Long Range Fuel Tank

In place of the standard 210L diesel tank, a larger 310L unit can be specified. Both standard and long range tanks are fabricated in stainless steel and are available on the Defender and Interceptor models.

Lightweight Trailer Towing Eye

Designed for towing a lightweight trailer, the retractable towing eye allows growers to move additional capacity around with them. A ratchet system is used for easy stowage to ensure late season crop clearance, with the assembly being pinned in both positions for security.

Cab Step Extension

To improve access on larger diameter wheel gear, a bolt on extension can be fitted to the Interceptor’s folding step.

Trailed Specific Options.

Stainless Steel Under Guarding

  • Option

Available on the Guardian and Sentry trailed, stainless steel guarding provides a smooth surface to minimise crop damage from the underside of the sprayer. Covering the main chassis and suspended axle, access is provided to allow draining of the main spray tank.

Boom Options.

Chafer Contour SubZero

Our in house boom levelling system uses three ultrasonic sensors to keep the boom at the operators selected height. Using proportional hydraulics Contour utilises the independent incline cylinders to achieve this, with both positive and negative geometry achievable.

Aluminium Nozzle Guards

Aluminium guardian is used to provide further shielding of the nozzles and spray pattern across the front of each boom section and break back.

Triple/Quin Nozzle Bodies

Triple or quin nozzles bodies with air shut off are standard fit across the range of Chafer sprayers. This single line setup is equipped with 6 boom sections of standard with individual nozzle control available along with every option in-between.

Duo React Nozzle Bodies

Our most popular nozzle body the Hypro Duo React offers a twin line setup on a single stainless steel spray line. A rotating quad body on one side with a single turret on the other, these can be operated alone or at the same time. The additional single turret is the perfect place to mount a Chafer Streambar MR.

Arag Sele-Jet 2+2 Nozzle Body

Another twin line option is the Arag Sele-Jet 2+2, allowing up to two of the four turret to be operated from the cab at any one time. Popular setups include two spray jets and two fertiliser nozzles, allowing rate change options either automatically or manually from the cab.
