On a Pulse Width Modulation system each nozzle is turned on and off multiple times every second, with a frequency high enough to prevent any misses as the machine moves down the field. Every nozzle has individual control of the application rate ensuring perfect rate control with consistent droplet sizing over the whole field, even while turning.
