Tailored to your requirements.
Every Chafer crop sprayer is custom built to suit the requirements of the customer and their business. A wide range of options is available to help you get the most out of your sprayer, maximising efficiency, application accuracy and ease of use. Below are some of the options available, this is only a selection of what is available, so please get in touch to find out everything we can offer.
Highlights.
Pulse Width Modulation

Controlling each nozzle with an individual pulsing valve Raven Hawkeye PWM allows users to specify pressure, application rate and droplet sizing from the cab. These are maintained regardless of forward speed to ensure precise targeted applications at all times. Built in turn compensation prevents under and over dosing across the whole boom.
Norac UC7 Active Roll

Coupled with our new boom centre frames, Norac UC7 offers the most advance levelling system available, ensuring boom height is maintained regardless of topography to minimise drift and maximise product efficacy. Available in 3 or 5 sensor versions, UC7 utilises ultrasonics and accelerometers to control the boom using the independent incline cylinders and the centre frame itself.
Plumbing Options
AirPurge

Aimed at reducing wash out times and chemical dead volumes, AirPurge uses compressed air to expel the maximum amount of liquid from the plumbing and spray lines at the end of a tank load. AirPurge can be used with the machine stationary, or on the move in the field, while still utilising auto section control for precise application.
Fast Filling Port

All Chafer crop sprayers are fitted with a hydraulically driven pump capable of filling at speeds of up to 800l/m (on a 3″ coupling). Where additional capacity is required, a fast fill port can be specified to allow direct filling of the spray tank from an external pump. Available in 2″ and 3″ versions.
General Options.
Self Propelled Specific.
Grammer Actimo Evolution Seat

Improving on the features of the Active XL, the Evolution models offers operators increased comfort via additional automated adjustability, active heating and cooling along with further cushioning. When the Evolution model is specified, a Chafer branded buddy seat and leather steering wheel are provided.
Lightweight Trailer Towing Eye

Designed for towing a lightweight trailer, the retractable towing eye allows growers to move additional capacity around with them. A ratchet system is used for easy stowage to ensure late season crop clearance, with the assembly being pinned in both positions for security.
Trailed Specific Options.
Hitch Options

Along side the standard ring hitch, trailed sprayers can be supplied with a wide variety of hitch types, all fitting to the universal drawbar. Options such as the Scharmuller/K80 ball hitch are popular, due to the more positive connection between sprayer and tractor. Machines are always delivered with the standard ring hitch fitted, and the special hitch supplied as a spare part.
Central Tyre Inflation

Available on our Sentry models, Central Tyre Inflation allows the operator to vary tyre pressures on the move between the road and field, allowing safe road travel while fully laden, and low in field pressures for minimum ground pressures. Air is transferred through the stub axle, with no exposed drop hoses.
Tractor Mudguard

Our 3 point linkage mounted mudguard is designed to protect the front end of a trailed sprayer from mud and debris from the rear of the tractor. Available in kit form, the mudguard features a shaped mounting bracket, providing room for the sprayers hydraulic and electrical connections. Each section can be modified to suit, with the maximum width of each guard/flap being 800mm.

Duo React Nozzle Bodies

Our most popular nozzle body the Hypro Duo React offers a twin line setup on a single stainless steel spray line. A rotating quad body on one side with a single turret on the other, these can be operated alone or at the same time. The additional single turret is the perfect place to mount a Chafer Streambar MR.
Arag Sele-Jet 2+2 Nozzle Body

Another twin line option is the Arag Sele-Jet 2+2, allowing up to two of the four turret to be operated from the cab at any one time. Popular setups include two spray jets and two fertiliser nozzles, allowing rate change options either automatically or manually from the cab.
