Multiseed Seeding Kits

Designed for the application of both oilseed rape and grass seed the kit includes 2 Microband “Twin 100” hopper units giving 200 litres seed capacity. Seed is metered through four Positive Displacement Metering Units with 8 outlets.

A high capacity electric fan unit with in cab fan on / off delivers seed to 8 spreader plates. A Heavy Duty landwheel drive ensures accurate ground speed related metering. Grass seeding rates of up to 45 kg / ha at 8 kph are achievable.

The Horstine Twin Air Applicator applies oilseed rape and slug pellets simultaneously without the need for premixing. The system which features a 300l stainless steel hopper with variable position partition can be mounted directly onto most subsoilers or cultivators. Electronically controlled ground speed related metering units using a GPS speed signal gives a constant application of both products regardless of forward speed of the tractor and without the need for a landwheel drive.
