TMAir - Implement mounted granular insecticide applicators for bedtillers

TMAir applicators are designed to make granular insecticide application safe, simple and efficient. Using high capacity twin 100l hoppers TMAir units can be mounted directly onto large bedtillers of all types. Product is individually metered to every outlet ensuring even chemical application across the width of the bedtiller. Applying insecticide on the bedtiller guarantees instant chemical incorporation reducing potential risk of contamination or risk to wildlife. Metering units are land wheel driven. This system delivers precise quantities of chemical regardless of changes in tractor forward speed. A hydraulically driven metering system is available.

TMAir - Front mounted granular insecticide applicators for bedtillers and rotavators

For growers wishing to apply insecticide before a bedtiller while planting or a stone and clod separator the front mounted TMAir offers a versatile and efficient solution. 100l or 150l translucent hoppers can be fitted increasing productivity and reducing downtime when filling. The hoppers are easily accessible and are easy to fill. Surefill receivers further enhance ease of filling and reduce operator chemical exposure. Where hoppers can not be seen from the tractor cab sensors are available to warn the operator of low hopper levels. As with all Horstine insecticide applicators product is metered to each outlet guaranteeing application accuracy across the bed.

Microband - Granular insecticide applicators for planters, destoners, bedtillers and drills

The unique positive displacement metering system used in Microband granular applicators allow granules of different sizes and densities to be precisely and economically applied over a wide range of application rates. The universal system has been adapted to apply granular products on most types of planter, seeder and cultivator on crops ranging from potatoes to sugar beet. Hopper units are supplied with capacities of 35l, 70l or 150l. Surefill receivers can either be fitted into the lid of a standard Microband hopper or connected directly to Microband metering units via a transition hopper.

Microband Air - In furrow granular insecticide applicator

Microband Air can be mounted onto a range of planters including Grimme, Structural and Standen Pearson and features a 70litre capacity hopper reducing the number of fills required each day. Standard Microband models use gravity to distribute chemical, which limits hopper positioning. Microband Air uses an electric fan to blow the chemical into the furrow. Microband Air is now fitted to the back of the planter where it is easily accessible for filling, calibration and maintenance. The hopper lid is fitted with closed transfer couplings minimizing operator exposure to chemical. Calibration is quick and easy using the calibration tray, which slides into the bottom of the metering unit. Application rate is now controlled electronically from the cab, replacing the mechanical drive system. This improves application accuracy and makes the system compatible with any planter, as well as being extremely simple to fit and maintain.
